"Our God Is" Video Devotion

"Our God Is" is the title of this KJV video devotion from Psalm 115, verses 3 through 8. At the time of the writing of this Psalm, each nation had their own god or gods, made of silver or gold--the work of men's hands. If their city or ruler was victorious in battle, their god or gods were said to be stronger. The Psalmist, in addressing the gods of the nations, compared them to the one true and living God, maker of the heavens and the earth. Their gods had mouths that did not speak, eyes that did not see, and ears that did not hear. They had hands that did not handle, and feet that did not walk. In contrast, the psalmist said, "Our God is!" He is in the heavens, and does whatsoever He is pleased to do.

God Bless You,
Linda
