The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
Psalm 24:1

That is what life is all about, is it not? People!

Today we return to the King James Version of the Bible with a series of devotions on people: individuals, groups of people, countries, etc. Some of the topics covered will be,

Commended by Christ
Crying to God
Full of Faith
Loving Sin
Who Stood Firm
Who Touched Christ,
and many more.

Our first topic is: People Belong to God!

Psalm 24:1 tells us, The earth is the Lord's . . . . and they that dwell therein.

Out of all the people in the world, God chose a people for Himself - a people who would be devoted to Him. Because of their frailties and sin nature, it would definitely be a bumpy road.

As Christians we certainly know that is true; when we become Christians we do not suddenly become perfect. We spend the rest of our lives here on earth battling our own sins! Yet, God in His great love and mercy walks beside us, leading and guiding us in the way of Truth. For a reason unknown to us, God uses people to reach other people. It would seem that more would be reached for Christ if He appeared to them as He did to Paul on the road to Damascus.

That, however, is not God's plan; remember our wisdom is foolishness to God. His way is perfect!

Join me for the next few months as we study "People" together.

God Bless You,
